The OneNote team has been working on a highly requested feature, Custom Tags. This feature is expected to be released in the coming weeks and will allow users to name a tag, select its icon, and even create a custom tag that could sync across your devices in OneNote.
This feature is expected to launch in OneNote for Windows 10 and OneNote for Mac first and then scale out in other platforms.
Custom tags are a great new feature since so many people have there own way and style for staying organized. Your projects and teams can benefit from these customized tags as you search your notes for them through your notebooks.
