Microsoft Teams has a way to prioritize the communication you are sending out to an individual. This feature is known as Priority Notifications.
Priority notifications alert recipients of time-sensitive messages, pinging a recipient every two minutes for twenty minutes or until messages are picked up and read by the recipient on their mobile or desktop.
Priority notifications would maximize the likelihood that the message is picked up and acted upon in a timely manner. To test this feature, simply find the exclamation mark that labels the conversation as important when typing a message. Please note that this feature must be turned on by your Microsoft Teams admin. Another feature to look into is the Read Receipts feature.
