Are you looking to have an impromptu meeting, or maybe you just want to set up a quick meeting with members of a specific channel within your team? See below for quick steps on how to accomplish this.
How to create a channel meeting
STEP 1: Click on the Calendar icon
STEP 2: Select New meeting.
STEP 3: Fill out the Title, and required attendees if any, select the right date and time and make sure you label which channel you want the meeting to take place in selecting the Add channel (under the time and date fields).
Channels can’t be edited or added once the invite is sent. You’ll need to send a new invite with the updated channels.
When you have a meeting in a channel, everyone in the team will be able to see it and join it in that channel. Once you’ve added the people you want, select Scheduling Assistant to find the best time.
If it’s a recurring meeting, open the dropdown menu next to Does not repeat (just below the date). Choose how often you want it to occur from the default options, or select Custom to create your own cadence.
