INTRODUCING WINDOWS 11

New Features:

Start Menu – The new Start Menu allows you to easily connect to your favorite people, news, games, and content. It puts everything that you need on your PC at the center with a set of pinned apps and even recently opened files from both your PC and across your other devices.

Snap Layouts – this will give you easier access to all of your apps that you need to multi-task.

Snap Groups – Snap groups is an easy way to switch back to your snapped windows.

Desktops – You can access your Desktops via Task View (WIN + Tab) on the Taskbar. You can reorder and customize the backgrounds for each of your Desktops allowing you to truly personalize work/life.

Meet Now feature is now Microsoft Teams – You can now connect with friends and colleagues instantly from your desktop with Microsoft Teams.

Taskbar – The Taskbar has new animations that will make pinning, launching, switching, minimizing and rearranging your apps easily.

Widgets – Stay up to date with new widgets. These widgets can be rearranged to give you the latest news, information, and entertainment that matters most to you. Just click on the widgets icon on the Taskbar, swipe from the left using touch, or hit WIN + W on your keyboard and your widgets slide out from the left over your desktop. You can add, remove and resize widgets.

Microsoft Store – The Microsoft Store gets a new look and feel.

New Visuals and Sounds – Windows 11 will have more rounded corners allowing you to center more on the content. It will also bring new animations that can extend across multiple areas of Windows 11.

New Themes – You now have brand new themes for Windows 11 for both dark and light mode as well as new contrast themes for people with visual impairments such as light sensitivity. To change your theme, just right-click on your desktop and choose “Personalize”.

Sounds – The sounds in Windows 11 have been designed to be lighter and more atmospheric depending on your theme (light theme or dark theme). The startup sound for Windows you will hear when you start windows or when your PC boots up to the Lock screen
