Cocreator is a powerful tool that taps into your imagination and artistic abilities. When you enter a text prompt and start drawing on the Paint canvas, Cocreator generates beautiful artwork based on your input. As you edit, it responds in near real time, evolving alongside your creative process. You can adjust the creativity slider to control the level of AI assistance while modifying your image. Additionally, you have the option to apply style filters like Watercolor or Oil Painting to further enhance your artwork. Best of all, there are no token limits or additional subscription fees, allowing you to create without constraints.
- Launch Cocreator:
- Search for and open the Paint application in the Taskbar, Start Menu, or app list.
- If you don’t see it, download it from the Microsoft Store.
- Once Paint is open, click on the Cocreator icon located at the top right side of the in-app toolbar.
- If you don’t see the Cocreator icon, update the Paint application by selecting “Get updates” in Microsoft Store > Library.
- Sign In:
- You’ll be prompted to log in with your Microsoft account. This ensures that images follow responsible AI (RAI) and security guidelines.
- Start Creating:
- Enter a text prompt in the designated box to describe what you’d like to create (e.g., “a mountainous valley of wildflowers,” “a city skyline at sunset,” or “a sea turtle over a coral reef”).
- Begin drawing on the canvas using your mouse, pen, or touch input. Watch as the image adjusts in near real time based on your input.
- Use any tools or colors you prefer. For optimal results, use desired colors, broader brush strokes, and fill the canvas.
- Adjust Creativity:
- Move the creativity slider to control AI input. Lower creativity yields results closer to your sketch, while higher creativity adds imaginative diversity.
- Choose a Style:
- From the drop-down menu, select a style option (e.g., watercolor or oil painting) to customize your artwork.
- Apply and Save:
- When satisfied with your artwork, click the generated image in the side pane to apply it to the Paint canvas.
- Add additional details (e.g., a butterfly or starfish) to continue evolving your image.
- Save your favorite images using File > Save or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S.
