SENDING URGENT MESSAGES IN MICROSOFT TEAMS

Microsoft Teams is the ultimate collaboration tool. Whether you are working on your PC or your mobile device, teams can have an instant effect on your productivity and communication. Thanks to the incredible chat features built into Teams, reaching out to someone for a question or comment is just a few clicks away.

The Microsoft Teams product group recently released in private preview a feature that can help escalate the importance of that communication. In Microsoft Teams you now have the ability to send urgent messages with priority notifications. These priority notifications alert a recipient to an urgent message on their mobile and desktop devices until a response is received, every two minutes for up to 20 minutes.

Coming soon you will also see a feature known as Message Delegation. This feature will enable a recipient to delegate messages to another recipient when they are unavailable.
