CREATING ANNOUNCEMENTS IN TEAMS

Announcements allow your team members to highlight or bring attention to an essential topic in a channel. They can also be a great way to start a new chat topic, project, or even welcome a new colleague to the team.

Here are some simple steps on how you can create announcements in Microsoft Teams today.

First, start a new thread in a Teams channel then click on new announcement. You will then see the drop-down option to select announcement. Type in your announcement title, and choose a background banner image for your announcement. After completing those steps, continue to type in a subheading if necessary and then finish typing in your message.
