Here are some simple syncing tips that will help you be more productive in OneNote:
You might not be aware of these but there are some simple on/off toggles in your OneNote Settings that will help you understand how to best sync your content in OneNote.
- Step 1: Open up your Windows 10 OneNote.
- Step 2: In the top right corner, click on the ellipsis (…)
- Step 3: Select Settings.
- Step 4: Select Options. You will then see the options listed below.
Sync your notebooks:
OneNote automatically syncs your notebooks to the cloud to keep them up to date. if you turn this off, remember to sync regularly to avoid losing any of your work. Below are three simple settings.
Sync all files and images:
Turn this on to download files and pictures on all pages and notebooks. If you turn this off, new files and pictures will not be downloaded until you navigate to each page.
File attachment options:
Save file attachments in OneDrive, where you can edit and share them. Turn this off to attach files in OneNote as a local copy.
